We recommend to try the “Vodka” salad even for those who do not consume strong drinks in principle. The dish turns out moderately spicy, very fragrant and piquant - an ideal snack for a festive table. The salad recipe includes only the simplest ingredients - it is cooked with mushrooms and pickled cucumbers, and we also remember about onions, peas and tongue (it can be replaced with boiled meat). Ingredients for 4-5 servings:
- pork tongue (beef) in jelly / boiled - 200-250 g;
- pickled cucumbers / 2-3 pickled;
- onion - 1 pc. (moderately large);
- marinated mushrooms - 150-200 g;
- canned green peas - 150-200 g;
- Ready mustard (spicy - to taste) - 2 tbsp. l .;
- unscented sunflower oil - 4 tbsp. l .;
- apple (wine) bite - 2 tbsp. l .;
- granulated sugar - 1 tsp;
- fine salt - a pinch.
How to cook salad "Under the Vodka" with mushrooms and pickles
Peel the onion, cut into thin half-rings, scald with boiling water and put into cold water so that the onion does not lose crispness.
Scalded onions pressed from the water, put in a deep bowl. Vinegar mixed with sugar and salt, razmolta until smooth. Pour the marinade onion, mix, leave to marinate at room temperature for 10 minutes. After that, drain the liquid and gently squeeze the onion.
Chopped salted or pickled cucumbers in a small cube, pre-cutting the tips.
Rinse mushrooms from the marinade, cut into small pieces, like cucumbers.
Language removed from the jar, cut into cubes.
Instead of canned jelly, you can use boiled. To make the tongue soft and juicy after cooking, it is necessary to pour cold water over it, bring it to the boil and drain the first portion of the liquid. Then type in a pot of fresh drinking water, add spices and / or roots to taste and cook for 2-3 hours (depending on the size of the language and its quality). Salt is better at the very end of cooking or add salt to the already prepared language. Before cutting into a salad, boiled tongue needs to be cleaned by removing a thick film. All the main ingredients of the salad: tongue, pickled onions, cucumbers, mushrooms and peas put in a deep salad bowl.
Prepare a mustard sauce, adding vegetable oil to the mustard.
Stir the dressing until a homogeneous emulsion.
Season the salad with mustard-oil mixture, mix thoroughly.
Salad ready! It can be served immediately under vodka and not only.
