Delicious tomato juice for the winter
Tomato juice at home can be prepared using various techniques. When spinning for the winter, use ripe tomatoes, then you get a very tasty juice.
For example, tomato slices can be twisted on a juicer or the most ordinary meat grinder. In addition, cooking options for this juice also differ in composition. After all, you can add not only salt and sugar, as in the classic recipe, but also various kinds of spices, such as: allspice and ground pepper, basil, garlic, cloves.
Taste also strongly depends on a grade of fruits. The juicier the tomatoes, the more juice, if fleshy - the tomato is thicker and richer in flavor. From 1.5 kilograms of red vegetables about 1 liter of juice is obtained.
Due to the fact that the juice should be poured into boiling banks, additional sterilization is not necessary.
Ingredients:
- 500 grams of red tomatoes,
- ½ tsp of coarse table salt

How to make delicious tomato juice at home
Wash tomatoes, pick spoiled - do not use them, so as not to spoil the taste of fresh.
Put in a wide container, cover with water and wash well.
Next, slice the tomatoes into suitable slices. Determine their value yourself, depending on the power and size of the nozzle of your meat grinder or juicer. If the machine discards too wet and juicy cake - manually grind it through a sieve.
Although, as an option, you can use the old, old-fashioned way and twist the tomatoes with a manual machine, in which you can adjust the density of the pulp.
Drain the tomato into one heat-resistant container and mix. Salt and sugar can be added immediately. Use canned salt only. Small - risky, because you can oversalt, and iodized for pickles is not intended and makes the dish is not suitable for use.
Place a container of freshly squeezed juice on the stove and bring to a boil over high heat. Do not remove the foam, it boils in the cooking process. After boiling, reduce the intensity of the fire a little and continue the heat treatment for another 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Make sure the juice does not run away, otherwise it will take a long time to wash the red drips from the stove.
Taste a spoonful of chilled drink, add sugar, spices if necessary. Now strain the juice through a sieve if you are twisting it through a meat grinder. This is necessary in order to get rid of excess seeds and peel.
Boil the juice again for 6 minutes.
Prepare the cans. I usually wash them with baking soda, and send them to the microwave for a minute. You can use any way convenient for you. Cover for 5-8 minutes in boiling water.
Pour the boiling tomato into the prepared container and close tightly. Turn it upside down and wrap up heat. Leave for a day, then move to storage in a cool basement.
