Gas station for winter cabbage of tomato, Bulgarian pepper and carrots is a traditional preparation in our family. My grandmother and my mom are preparing this kind of gas station, so the recipe is a family one. I hasten to share with you the preparation of a delicious vegetable dressing, which will be good for both cabbage soup and in an independent form.
In winter, it is difficult to buy high-quality tomatoes and sweet peppers, and they are expensive, so in summer, when the markets are overflowing with vegetables, be sure to stockpile various salads, sauces, dressings and caviar.
For today's refueling, we need ripe tomatoes and fragrant sweet peppers. It is with them that the soup becomes tasty and home-made. By boiling broth (for example, chicken), you can add potatoes, cabbage, and a portion of canned dressing. At this preparation soup can be considered complete. As you can see there is no need to mess around with carrots, tomatoes, onions and peppers.
If you grow your own vegetables in the garden, then dressing homemade tomatoes and peppers is a real find, because the first dishes become so fragrant that you will lick your fingers. In general, you will have to plow a little in the summer to rest in the winter and enjoy the rich and homemade soup, but this is only good!
- 500 grams of carrots,
- 1 kg tomato,
- 200 grams of sweet pepper,
- 200 grams of onions,
- 20 grams of sugar
- 40 grams of salt
- 40 grams of vegetable oil,
- 40 grams of table vinegar (9%).
How to cook a dressing for soup
Vegetables immediately cleaned and rinsed. With the carrot and onion, peel off the peel, and remove all the internal seeds from the sweet pepper. Onion and pepper cut into cubes of small size, and carrots three using a grater.
Grind tomatoes in a blender (or meat grinder) to a state of mashed potatoes.
Stew carrots, onions and peppers with oil, salt and sugar. We notice 15 minutes and stew, stirring occasionally, so that vegetables do not burn to the bottom of the dish.
Add tomato puree juice to vegetables, vinegar and stew all together for another 15 minutes. Sometimes stir with a spoon so that the vegetables at the bottom are not burnt.
We impose ready gas station in sterilely washed and steamed jars.
We cork with caps and put them under the “fur coat”. A “fur coat” is a usual warm blanket or blanket under which the seals slowly cool down, undergo additional sterilization, which means they will be stored in the winter without problems.
