Fast pickled tomatoes in Italian in just half an hour
This recipe is created for those who do not like to wait long and spend a lot of time in the kitchen. Marinated tomatoes in Italian for 30 minutes is easy to cook. Snack looks gorgeous, especially if you choose tomatoes of different colors and medium size. Herbs for flavor choose according to your taste, the usual basic set - parsley and dill, will be very useful. If you do not want to use fresh garlic, you can replace it with a granular counterpart. Oil is preferable to olive oil, and select apple or wine vinegar.
You will need:
- tomatoes - 0.5 kg,
- garlic - 4 cloves,
- parsley - 0.5 bunch,
- dill - 0.5 bunch,
- salt - 0.5 tsp,
- sugar - 0.5 tsp,
- vegetable oil - 3 tablespoons,
- vinegar - 1 tablespoon,
- black pepper - 1 tsp,
- French mustard - 1.5 tsp.
How to cook tomatoes in Italian
Dill and parsley cut into a ceramic knife.
Tomatoes wash and dry. Cut vegetables into 0.8 cm thick rings.
In a bowl for making marinade, mix the oil, vinegar and pepper.
Add French mustard and salt with sugar. Beat lightly with a fork.
Peel and grate the garlic and mix with the marinade.
Put the greens in the marinade and mix.
Lay a layer of tomato slices on the bottom of the marinating pan. For each circle lay a slurry of greens and marinade.
The next layer of tomatoes.
Repeat layers. Cover the pan with a lid and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Put ready tomatoes on a plate for serving with greens.
