Salad "Hunting" with tomatoes and cucumbers, tasty preparation
The composition of the salad "Hunter" includes almost the entire range of summer vegetables, which all so need in cold times. The dish looks bright and appetizing, and its taste is very rich. There are lots of ways to cook it, and this recipe with tomatoes and cucumbers is a classic.
It is important to follow the instructions of the recipe and follow a certain order of layering vegetables. Cucumbers must first be checked for the presence of bitterness. It is recommended to soak them in cool water for several hours before applying, so they will become more elastic.
If the fruits shredded by rings are too large, they should be divided in half. All vegetables should be free from damage, rotten patches and wormholes.
Cooking time: 1 hour 20 minutes. About 5 liters of ready-made canned food come out of these ingredients.
Ingredients:
- white cabbage - 1.5 kg;
- carrots - 1 kg;
- onion - 1 kg;
- cucumbers - 1 kg;
- tomatoes - 1 kg;
- Bulgarian pepper - 1 kg;
- vegetable oil - 250 ml;
- Vinegar 9% - 150 ml;
- salt - 80 g .;
- granulated sugar - 200 gr .;
- bay leaf - 8 pcs .;
- black pepper peas - 10 pcs.
How to cook salad "Hunter"
Peel carrots, cut into slices with a thickness of no more than 0.5 cm and spread to the bottom of a deep pan.
Release white cabbage from sluggish leaves and chop manually with a knife or using a special grater. Place in container with the next layer. Top with chopped half rings onions.
The fourth row in the container to place the cucumbers, cut into thin washers. Next send the Bulgarian pepper, crushed with long strips. Previously, it must be cleaned of contaminants, and also remove the stem and internal seeds.
The final stage put tomatoes. They should be divided into large segments. Peel can not be removed.
