Marinated tomatoes with carrots, recipe for 1 l jar

It so happens that you are going to pickle tomatoes, and no horseradish or fennel is not. In this case, I suggest to pickle tomatoes with carrots to winter. My recipe with a photo of 1 liter jar, it turns out delicious, sweet and sour pickled tomatoes.

Carrot topper gives the marinade a pleasant taste, it successfully replaces the so-called “broom” or “bouquet” for the marinade, which grandmothers sell on the market.

It takes 30 minutes to prepare. From the ingredients indicated in the recipe you will get 1 can with a capacity of 1 l.

  • tomatoes - how much will fit into the jar;
  • green tops from 2 carrots;
  • garlic - 4-5 cloves;
  • Dill umbrella - 2 pcs .;
  • cumin, coriander, black pepper.

To fill:

  • table salt - 1 tbsp .;
  • granulated sugar - 2 tbsp.
  • 9% vinegar - 1 tbsp.
  • spring water or filtered.

How to pickle tomatoes with carrots to 1 l jar

Put small ripe and strong tomatoes in a bowl with cold water. Wash vegetables thoroughly, spread on a clean towel.

We cut the tops of carrots from carrots, also thoroughly wash, shake, lay on a clean towel.

Garlic cloves clean from the husk, gently press down with a knife. Dill umbrellas cut off the stems.

A liter jar of my warm water with soda, rinsed with hot water and boiling water. Sterilize the dishes do not need enough to wash and rinse.

Bring the pot to the boil, boil for 3-4 minutes.

Close the jar with boiled lid, then put in a large pan filled with hot water. Pasteurize 10 minutes at a temperature of 85 degrees Celsius.

Close the finished tomatoes tightly and turn the jar neck down, cover with a towel.
