In the summer on our table you can find mostly fresh vegetables, but sometimes for a change you want something salty or sharp. What to do in this case? Open recently closed cans with blanks for the winter? There is a better option - pickle instant tomatoes. We offer a recipe for tomatoes with herbs and garlic, pickled for 1 day.
The basis of the snack - ripe tomatoes, as well as fragrant herbs and spicy garlic. Dill is used in this variant, but if you wish you can add cilantro, parsley or basil.
- 500 g tomato,
- 3-4 cloves of garlic,
- 2 pcs. sweet pepper,
- 0.5 pcs. chili peppers
- 1 bunch of dill,
- 1 tea l salt,
- 1 tea l sugar,
- 1 tables. l 9% vinegar,
- 1.5 tables. l vegetable oil.
Cooking tomatoes with herbs and garlic
Wash all vegetables and herbs. Peel the garlic cloves, sweet and spicy peppers, cut all the products into medium slices and send them to the blender bowl. In this way we will prepare a spicy and spicy tomato sauce. Spiciness can be adjusted by reducing the amount of chili peppers.
Whip vegetables in a blender and get vegetable puree with a rich aroma. If you find a little green, you can add parsley or basil.
To the vegetable mass, add to taste the salt, sugar, pour a little vegetable oil and vinegar. And now the vegetable puree became more liquid and it turned out to be an excellent marinade sauce for tomatoes.
Cut the tomatoes into slices, cutting the stem. Sliced tomatoes are pickled twice as fast as the whole.
We put tomatoes in a convenient container: it can be any food container, glass jar or bowl. Fill the tomatoes with marinade so that it evenly covers all the vegetables. Cover with a lid and put in the fridge for 1 day.
Ready marinated tomatoes immediately served.
