Flying Tomatoes with Garlic and Herbs
As the name implies, pickled “Uletnye” tomatoes with greens and garlic are extremely tasty and fly away from the table in an instant. Spicy, with the aroma of garlic, chopped dill, parsley - they are good as an appetizer for strong drinks, and as an additive to fried potatoes, mashed potatoes, meatballs and all kinds of side dishes. In this case, they are prepared so simply that the entire cooking process is remembered from the first time. It is not necessary to remember the proportions of the marinade, the main thing is to remember its components, anyway, every woman will bring it to the desired taste.
Ingredients:
- strong ripe tomatoes, fleshy varieties - 8-10 pcs.,
- garlic cloves - 5-6 pcs.,
- dill and parsley - 1/3 of the beam,
- chilli pepper - 0.5 pcs.,
- salt - 1 tsp,
- sugar - 1.5 tsp,
- Vinegar 9% strength - 2 tbsp. l.,
- vegetable oil - 1.5-2 Art. l
How to cook tomatoes "Splendid"
Larger tomatoes cut into four parts, smaller cut in half. Cut out the place of attachment of the stem.
Cooking spicy additives: finely chop the garlic cloves or push through a press, cut hot peppers into rings, grind the washed and dried greens. If you want to make a sharper snack, chop the pepper into a small cube and pour in each layer.
Putting tomatoes cut up in a single layer. Pour greens, garlic, throw a couple of pepper rings.
We spread the next layer cut side down. Also pour greens and garlic. Pour vegetable oil.
Sprinkle with vinegar. For marinating fresh vegetables it is better to take fruit vinegar, but the usual table also will do.
Add salt and sugar. Stick to the proportions in the recipe, but after the salt and sugar dissolve in the juice that is released, try the marinade and bring it to the desired taste.
Cover the dishes with tomatoes with a lid, shake several times, scroll to pickle marinade on each tomato. We leave for 4-6 hours to infuse, during this time we shake three or four times.
