It is not a shame to serve such a snack even on a festive lush table. There are no extra components in the composition. Juicy tomatoes are perfectly combined with Bulgarian pepper and pickled onions. Despite the fact that the salad of tomatoes, onions and peppers for the winter must be sterilized, it is prepared fairly quickly. The set of ingredients is very simple, but the taste of the salad is light and refined.
Ingredients for Tomato Salad:
- tomatoes - 1000-1500 g;
- sweet pepper (large) - 1 pc .;
- onions - 1-2 pcs .;
- salt - 1 tbsp. l .;
- sugar - 2 tbsp. l .;
- sunflower oil - 50 ml;
- Table vinegar (9%) - 20 ml.
Cooking Tomato Salad
All vegetables thoroughly washable. Onions and sweet peppers are cleaned. If the tomatoes are small, then cut them into two parts, if they are large - then into several.
Bulgarian pepper cut into strips, and onion - into half rings.
All vegetables are mixed in one bowl. Next to the vegetables pour refined sunflower oil and vinegar, pour granulated sugar and a portion of kitchen salt.
Mix the salad and leave it for about an hour and a half so that it should be properly infused, the vegetables let the juice go.
Pour the vegetables into clean and dry jars, tamping them. Then we cover with lids and set to be sterilized in the pan, with the bottom of the cloth closed. Fill it with the same water to the level of the shoulder of the jar and boil for five minutes after boiling. If you took a tare more than 0.5, then sterilize a little longer.
We roll up the covers, turn it upside down and put it “under the fur coat”.
After the preservation has cooled, drop it in the basement or in a cool pantry room. Serve chilled better.
