Salad "Herring under a fur coat" is a culinary invention known since the Soviet era, not losing its popularity for many decades, and is still a frequent visitor to our festive tables and feasts. How to make a salad "Herring under a fur coat"
We will prepare all the necessary ingredients. My herring is well washed under running water and cut into fillets. Boil vegetables in salted water until done. Cook eggs for 8-10 minutes after boiling water and let them cool completely.
Begin to lay out the salad. The first layer is made of boiled potatoes, grated on a medium grater.
Each layer is well greased with mayonnaise.
On top of the potatoes lay out the chopped herring with onions.
Top herring make a layer of eggs, grated on a medium grater.
Put the grated boiled carrots on top of the eggs.
Make the last layer of beets. Peel the boiled beets, grate on a medium grater and cover the salad from all sides.
