Prepare a salad called "Riddle for Guests" with egg pancakes and cucumber. The “trick” of this recipe is unusual omelet pancakes, which are made from eggs that are loose with water and are seasoned with salt and pepper to taste. Gentle and juicy, they very well fit into the salad recipe!
Few people guess what is added to the salad, so even those who like unusual flavor combinations can be surprised with such a simple salad. For satiety, any meat products are added to the salad, in our version it is boiled chicken fillet, which is broken down into fine fibers. You can replace it with any sausage or ham, boiled meat. Fresh cucumber is also very useful - it will add to the salad juiciness and freshness.
Refueling is traditionally made from mayonnaise. If you cook in a light version, you can mix the yogurt with sour cream or fill with sour cream, shading the taste of dressing with a fraction of mustard or lemon juice. See the recipe with photos step by step.
- egg - 1 pc;
- water - 2 tbsp. l;
- fresh cucumber - 1-2 pieces;
- boiled chicken fillet - 150 gr;
- vegetable oil - 1 tbsp. l;
- fresh dill - 0.5 bunch;
- salt - 1/3 tsp;
- ground black pepper - 2 shchipi;
- mayonnaise - 2-3 tbsp. l
How to cook salad "Riddle for guests"
We break the egg into a deep bowl, pour in a couple of spoons of cold water. Season with salt and pepper.
Whip with a whisk to a single mass with fine bubbles. It is not necessary to beat an egg until fluffy foam, pancakes from well-beaten eggs fall off strongly after frying; they turn out to be very thin.
Pour some oil into the pan. We heat on medium heat. Pour the egg mixture, fill all the bottom evenly. Fry egg pancake until the top is sealed, without covering. Bottom slightly brown or leave light. Cool on a plate or board.
While the omelet pancake cools down, cut all the other components of the salad. Cucumbers cut into strips or semicircles. Approximately half of the cucumber is left for the decoration of the salad.
Boiled fillet divide hands or fork into thin strips of fiber.
Cool, cut the pancake in wide strips. Fold in a pile, cut into straws of 1.5-2 cm.
Put cucumbers, fillet and pancake straw in a bowl. Sprinkle with finely chopped fresh dill. Shave a dressing. Dosalivaem to taste, if there is a need.
The remaining cucumber shred with thin rounds. Salad fill a deep bowl. Around do the bezel of cucumber circles. Serve the salad slightly chilled.
