How to make a snack of pita
Clean the sausage, cut into small cubes. For the preparation of this snack, you can use any type of sausage or smoked meat (poultry). A very interesting taste is obtained if you immediately put several types of sausage in the filling. In this recipe used sausages with cheese and smoked sausage.
Tomatoes are also cut into cubes.
Grind pre-washed greens. You can take some kind of one (dill, parsley, green onions) or a little bit of everything.
Each sheet of pita cut into identical rectangles or squares. Size - at your discretion, as long as the blanks are placed on the pan. It is convenient to cut pita bread with kitchen scissors or a very sharp knife (otherwise a thin sheet of dough will tear).
The resulting rectangles smear a thin layer of soft melted cheese. If the cheese is squashy, then it must be pre-grated on a coarse grater or cut into thin slices. You can use Yantar type cheese, it is sold in plastic containers. As for additives, a tasty snack is obtained with cream cheese and filled cheese (mushrooms, bacon, greens, etc.).
All components of the filling to fold into a large bowl, mix gently.
Put a little filling on one of the pita rectangles (in one layer, backing away from the edges).
Cover with the second blank (lubricated side up). Make another 1-2-3 layers of snacks. To form all “envelopes” according to this scheme.
Cook a batter: put eggs into a deep bowl, add flour and some salt.
Beat with a wick or a whisk until a homogeneous, moderately viscous mass. The batter should not be too thick.
Heat the vegetable oil in the pan, dip the pita bread with filling in batter and fry. Fry over moderate heat until golden brown on both sides.
Put the finished snack on a paper towel, soak the fat on top with a second napkin. Serve a snack immediately after cooking.
Enjoy your meal!
