In addition, homemade pickles will always make the table more attractive and inviting.
Assorted cucumbers and tomatoes for the winter - this is our version today, prepared according to the most delicious recipe, which we will keep for the future. Spices and spices can always be changed, added or removed - it depends on your tastes. You can serve vegetables to meat dishes, any cereals, potatoes, etc.
Ingredients per 1 liter:
- water - 1 l;
- vinegar 9% - 70 ml;
- salt - ¼ cup;
- sugar - ¼ cup;
- tomatoes - 150 g;
- cucumbers - 150 g;
- sweet pepper - 2 pieces;
- parsley - 2 twigs;
- peppercorns - 2-3 pcs .;
- mustard beans - 1/3 tsp.
How to cook assorted cucumbers and tomatoes for the winter
Prepare all the necessary products. Immediately choose tomatoes and cucumbers - the vegetables should not be large. Wash everything well and lightly dry.
Tomatoes leave entirely, cucumbers can be cut into 4 parts. If you suddenly get gherkins, use them as a whole.
Liter jar wash with soda, detergent. Sterilize the jar in a convenient way - over steam or in the oven. Cover the lid in boiling water and boil for 7-10 minutes. At the bottom of the jar lay a couple of parsley twigs and spices - peppercorns, mustard seeds. Fill a jar with tomatoes and cucumbers.
Also, for a pleasant taste, add a couple of pieces of sweet pepper to the jar. Pour boiling water over vegetables, cover with a sterile cap and leave for 15 minutes alone.
After a while, drain the water, pour the vegetables with a new portion of boiling water. Leave the vegetables again for 15 minutes.
While the water is still in the jar, quickly cook the marinade - combine the specified amount of water, salt and sugar, boil for a couple of minutes, add vinegar.
Drain the water from the jar, immediately pour the vegetables with boiling marinade and immediately roll up hermetically. Put the jar upside down, wrap, leave for a day. After a while to remove the workpiece in the cellar.
