The pronounced, rich tomato flavor will not leave anyone indifferent. In this recipe, we will not use anything superfluous, no too specific and fragrant spices, so as not to clog that very pleasant original taste of summer tomatoes.
Everything is edible in this snack: both the vegetables themselves and the tasty tomato sauce. It can be used absolutely everywhere: for cooking soups, borscht, cabbage, cabbage rolls, and add to pasta and vegetable stews. To prepare tomatoes in your juice is not difficult, even for a novice mistress. Sterilization of the workpiece is not necessary, and it remains for a long time even in apartment conditions.
- tomatoes - 750 g;
- tomato paste - 100 g .;

How to cook tomatoes in their own juice
Prepare the glass container: clean the baking soda, wash it with water and sterilize in the oven / microwave oven. Lids boil in boiling water for several minutes. We divide all the tomatoes into two parts: the first will be used to produce tomato juice, and the second will be rolled up directly. With one portion of tomatoes, remove the skin. To do this, we make cuts in the shape of a cross and pour fruit with boiling water for a couple of minutes.
After carrying out such manipulations, the skin will quickly peel. Cut the peeled tomatoes in half and put in jars.
With the rest of the tomatoes squeeze juice. To do this, interrupt them with a blender.
We combine fresh juice with tomato paste, salt, sugar, peppercorns and bay leaf. Add a piece of hot chili pepper and a clove of garlic.
