Daily cabbage in a can
Today I want to offer you a recipe for very tasty pickled cabbage. This appetizer is called daily cabbage in a jar. This recipe will appeal to many, because cabbage is prepared quite quickly, and the result is excellent. For the preparation of daily cabbage in the bank will need a minimum of ingredients, with the most affordable and inexpensive. This salad is ideally combined with boiled or baked potatoes, as well as perfectly suited to meat or fish dish. - white cabbage - 500 g;
- carrots - 1 pc .;
- salt - 1 tbsp. l .;
- sugar - 0.5 tbsp. l .;
- water - 500 ml;
- allspice - 3 peas;
- bay leaf - 2 pcs .;
- vinegar 9% - 3 tbsp. l
How to cook daily cabbage in a jar
We will prepare all the necessary ingredients. Cabbage choose fresh, dense, juicy. Rinse under running water and dry. Remove the top leaves from the cabbage, cut it in half and chop into small strips.
We clean the carrots, wash them well under water, rub them on a medium grater and add to the cabbage.
We take a jar, pour it with boiling water and spread half a cabbage with carrots into it, tamping it tightly. Add a bay leaf.
Top out the remaining half of the vegetables and add a couple of peas allspice.
Now proceed to the preparation of the marinade. Pour water into a saucepan, add all spices, mix well, cook for a couple of minutes, let cool slightly and filter the marinade. Fill the cabbage with marinade and leave it for a day alone.
Daily cabbage in the can is ready. Merge the marinade, put the cabbage on a plate, add a little vegetable oil and serve to the table.
