Simple dressing for borsch without sterilization for the winter
In the winter season, everyone lacks fresh vegetables and fruits. That is why the housewives try to prepare as many jars as possible with all sorts of goodies. The first dishes, cooked with the addition of such dressing, are very tasty, healthy and rich. It must be added to the broth shortly before readiness. It is worth noting that the workpiece is done without heat treatment, but instead contains a large amount of kitchen salt, so it is better not to add salt to the finished dish. It also saves you a lot of personal time. Most of the time is spent on cutting and preparing vegetables.
The ingredients are simple and affordable:
- onions - 500 g;
- carrot - 500 g;
- tomatoes - 500 g;
- bell peppers - 300 g;
- greens (parsley) - 200 g;
- coarse salt - 400 g.
We get 2500 grams of finished borscht dressing. It is best to store it in small jars. If you didn’t use all the vegetables by opening the jar, you can leave it the next time.
How to make a simple borsch dressing for the winter
Peel and finely chop the onion.
Sweet peppers are peeled from the middle and chopped too.
Grated peeled carrots, or cut into thin strips.
Grind greens with a knife, and ripe three tomatoes on a grater.
You can chop tomatoes in a blender.
We combine all the ingredients in one bowl.
Add 400 g of coarse salt to them.
Mix all the vegetables well.
We sterilize jars and lids. We scatter borsch dressing to the very top. You can also sprinkle salt on top to protect vegetables from bacteria that contribute to fermentation. We twist the threaded lids and put in the refrigerator.
In the pantry or basement, the workpiece will not last long. Therefore, we store refueling only in the refrigerator.
