The main mistake when planting seeds
Sowing seeds requires a delicate attitude, a considerable time and enough knowledge. Such a painstaking process consists of many subtleties that must be taken into account in the work. Watering the soil before and after sowing seeds is of paramount importance, so it is important to know all the details of this process in order to grow the desired plant.
Pros and cons of watering seeds and soil before planting
Often, inexperienced gardener does not attach importance to what should be the correct watering. In this process, there is nothing difficult, the main thing is to do it in a timely manner and remember some important points. Watering should be especially careful not to destroy all the labors.
A common mistake is to moisten the soil with seeds after planting. This technology is wrong. It is much better to water the soil before landing, and after that, fill in the required area with a small amount of dry soil. This will maximize the number of future shoots.
If the soil is too dry and still needs sufficient moisture, it is advisable to use a spray bottle and spray water carefully.
How often and properly water the seeds after planting
After placement into the ground, it is strictly prohibited to wet the seed with plenty of water. Such a step can have disastrous consequences for the future of the plant. A large amount of water can pull the seeds into the ground. This will complicate (or even make it impossible) the further germination process. If such a seedling is weak, then it will continue to hurt and slowly die.
But if the need for additional watering is still necessary, it can be done, but following some rules, so that the sprouts can grow normally and get the maximum benefit from moisture:
- It is better to use slightly warm water or bring to room temperature, but do not take it from the refrigerator, tap or well.
- It is advisable to only slightly spray the soil in order not to cause harm and not to injure the still weak plant.
- It is important not to get involved in and produce watering strictly as needed.
Before diving
The procedure should be made exactly at the moment when the first leaves become visible: there should be three or four.
The last time before picking watering should be done in two days.
Worry about the fact that the soil will become dry, not worth it. During a dive, the ground will still remain fairly wet and loose.
After diving
It should be remembered that after the picking process, the soil should be moistened only four days later. Such a step will allow the plant to remain strong, durable and developed.
After that, after a few days, the seedlings should be placed in a special container, under which there should be a pallet.Further watering should be done strictly following the schedule - only once every ten days.
