Cucumber salad "Winter King" - a simple recipe without sterilization
Fragrant salad of cucumbers for the winter "Winter King" perfectly with the dishes of potatoes. Homemade food, cooked very simply, without sterilization, is used to prepare pickle, salad "Olivier". With the help of a recipe with step-by-step photos, you can easily make a cucumber snack. Cucumbers are hard as fresh. For cooking salad, you can use ripe and overripe cucumber fruits

Products:
- onions - 1 kg.,
- cucumber - 5 kg.,
- Dill sprigs - 300 gr.,
- Table vinegar essence 9% - 6 tbsp.,
- black pepper peas - 7 pcs.,
- vegetable oil - 0.5 l.,
- salt - 3 tbsp.,
- sugar - 5 tbsp.
- laurel leaf - 2 pcs.
The process of cooking salad of cucumbers "Winter King"
To begin with, soak the cucumbers in cold water for 30 minutes, rinse, remove the butts, cut into slices, spread into a container.
After that, clean the onion from the husk, wash it, cut into half rings, lay out to the cucumbers. It is preferable to take onions not bitter varieties, so that the salad did not have a specific taste.
Wash the dill sprigs, finely chop and add to the rest of the ingredients. Mix the ingredients well in a bowl and leave the mixture to infuse for 30 minutes.
Prepare the fill. Take a capacious enameled container, pour in vegetable oil, table vinegar essence, black pepper peas, bay leaf, granulated sugar and salt. In the resulting mass lay out chopped vegetables, mix thoroughly. To pour the salad, use an odorless vegetable oil.
Additionally, in a jar, you can add mustard seed, cumin, coriander, black pepper peas. We will cook on medium heat to a boiling state, stirring occasionally. The appetizer will become more aromatic if you add sweet Bulgarian pepper, red pepper in a pod, ginger root.
As soon as the cucumbers are darkened, the mass is removed from the heat and immediately poured into sterilized jars. First you need to wash and sterilize the jar in any way.
After that, we roll up a jar of cucumber salad “Winter King” with a metal lid, wrap a blanket and leave to cool for 24 hours.
