How to cook tomato sauce with basil for the winter
We wash the tomatoes, make cuts in the form of a cross on each fruit and place them in boiling water for a couple of minutes.
After that, we easily remove the skin, and fold the peeled fruits into a blender cup. If the tomatoes are large, then for convenience we cut them into several slices. In a blender, to the tomatoes, add a few sprigs of basil. You can take both green and purple greens. We interrupt everything with the help of a blender.
Pour the mashed potatoes into a container with a dense bottom and walls and set the stew under a lid for 30 minutes over low heat.
Constantly ensure that the vegetable mass is not burned. At the end of time, remove the lid and boil down the future sauce to the desired consistency. At this stage, pour in spices, grated garlic, table salt and granulated sugar.
Then add 2 tablespoons of odorless oil, boil for another five minutes and be sure to remove the sample.
If the taste is completely satisfactory, arrange the sauce in sterilized jars and cork.
Enjoy your meal.
