How to make compote from grapes and apples
The first question that arose for you: “which grapes are best suited for this drink?” You can take any, but in this recipe we make a compote of blue grapes. Everything is the same with apples - any, but better juicy, sweet and sour ones will do. We wash the fruit and sort out the vine branches. Rotten or damaged berries should not float in the compote.
Then we separate the grapes from the branches and put in a sterile, dried jar. We cut the apple into large slices, removing the core and also add to the grapes.
Pour boiling water into a jar to cover the fruits and do not touch for 15 minutes.
Now pour the water into the pan, pour sugar, ground cinnamon and a little citric acid so that the drink is well preserved.
Bring everything to a boil and mix. Pour this syrup into a jar and seal.
For 24 hours we put conservation in an inverted position, and then hide in a pantry or basement.
