What can be simpler than the easiest preparation of cucumbers - cucumbers without vinegar and without sterilization, crispy and delicious: the super recipe is on our agenda today. If you have never tried to harvest cucumbers according to this recipe, be sure to pay your attention. In this case, you will not need to sterilize the jars and the workpiece, nor will you need vinegar, citric acid will act as a preservative.

Ingredients for Cucumbers:

  • cucumbers - 2 kg;
  • greens for pickling cucumbers - to taste;
  • garlic - 2 cloves;
  • citric acid - 1/3 tsp;
  • water - 1 l;
  • salt - 2 tbsp .;
  • sugar - 3 tablespoons

The process of making cucumbers without vinegar and sterilization

Prepare all the necessary ingredients on a list. Pickled greens to choose any that you like - dill rosette, cherry leaves, currants, horseradish. Rinse and dry all the greens. Peel and chop the garlic randomly.

Pre-soak cucumbers in cold water - for 5-6 hours, in the process change the water several times.

Then roll up the cucumbers and put them upside down, leave them alone for a day, not forgetting to insulate the cans with a blanket. Store cucumbers in a cool place.

    This cucumber harvesting recipe is the best! No vinegar is used. Cucumbers turn out crispy and taste natural pickled!
    It is better to take cucumbers for salting small, but not more than 12 cm.
    Wash cucumbers thoroughly, soak for 3 hours in cold water. Thinly cut the tail of the cucumber, put it in a bowl for salting. Put spices: cut garlic into plates (to taste), bay leaf, peas, dill (better than inflorescences), horseradish leaf (cut), hot pepper (if you like hot ones). Make a brine: one and a half liters of cold water 2 tbsp.spoons (slightly with a slide) of salt + 1 tbsp.spoons (without a hill) of sugar. Pour cucumbers with this brine, cover with a cotton towel, put a flat plate, it bends.Leave to roam for three days. (If necessary, wash off mold from a napkin during fermentation.) On the fourth day, put cucumbers and spices in a cup, strain the brine through cheesecloth or a thick sieve into the pan. Boil. Rinse cucumbers and spices with hot water, arrange in jars. Top spices. Pour boiling water over the cucumbers for 10 minutes. Drain, pour boiling brine, roll up. Wrap well for two days. Note: during storage on the cucumbers, a white precipitate forms from the fermented brine, this is normal and do not be scared.
