- tomatoes - 700 g;
- water - 500 g;
- carrot tops - 5-6 branches;
- sugar - 2 tbsp. l .;
- salt - 0.5 tbsp. l .;
- vinegar 9% - 1 tbsp. l
How to prepare tomatoes for winter with carrot tops
Wash cans with soda, rinse several times with clean water, then sterilize the container: set over a pot of boiling water. To do this, either a metal colander or a special ring for sterilization is suitable. Sterilized banks to cool a little.
At the bottom of the can, fold the washed and dried carrot tops.
Put tomatoes in a dense layer. It is better when the tomatoes are small, they are easily distributed in a jar.
Boil water, pour tomatoes in a jar, cover with a lid and let stand for 15 minutes.
Drain the water, boil the marinade from it: boil the water again, add salt and sugar. Pour in the vinegar and wait for the bubbles to appear on the surface. Turn off the heat and remove the marinade from the stove.
Pour the tomatoes with hot marinade and immediately roll the lids.
Turn the cans upside down, insulate and allow to cool completely. You can leave the tomatoes under the covers for the night.
