Description and description of tomato "Bystrenok"

23.03.2018 Tomatoes

Early tomatoes are always in favor, because thanks to the short ripening time, the fruits can be harvested already in early July. This is especially important for many Russian regions, where the summer is sometimes not happy with warmth and duration.

Domestic breeders bred a lot of early ripe varieties and hybrids, and among them - tomato F1 Bystrenok.

Hybrid Description

Harvest and tasty tomato attracted the attention of gardeners almost immediately, as the seeds appeared on sale. Since 2013, the fruit of the labor of Nizhny Novgorod breeders has been included in the State Register, it is recommended for cultivation in open ground, as well as for greenhouses.

In the middle lane, the hybrid grows well right on the ridges, manages to give back the crop. In the regions of the North-West, in the Urals, in the regions of Siberia, it is recommended to grow it under shelters. The fruits are smooth, rounded and beautiful, bright red. You can use it everywhere:

  • salads;
  • preservation;
  • pickling.

Bystrenok has comprehensive resistance to a number of diseases, but in any case, prevention is needed.

Main characteristics of tomato F1 Bystrenok

In general, this hybrid meets all the basic characteristics that are inherent in determinant type tomatoes. Its height does not exceed 80 cm, the bushes on the ridges are lower, about 50-60 cm. The affinity is small, while the sheets are simple but large.

The bush completes its growth with a flower brush.

Bystrenki must be stepsoned, in addition, it is necessary to perform the formation of a bush (leave 2-3 stems). Aligned fruits are formed on the hands, each weighing approximately 120 grams. The manufacturer stated that this hybrid is intended mainly for fresh consumption, salads, but judging by the reviews, Bystrenok showed himself well in conservation, in pickling.

The fruits are dense, do not crack, perfectly retain their shape in marinades. The pulp is very juicy, has a rich color, tasty and sweet. There is a light tomato flavor. From 4 to 6 seed chambers are formed inside.

Hybrid Growth Recommendations

Tomato F1 Bystrenok can be grown in greenhouses and open ground, the choice is made based on the climatic conditions of the area.

Seedlings are usually sown in the period from March 15 to 20, given the time of seed germination and the fact that the seedlings during planting should be three months old. Seeds need disinfection, germination.

ON A NOTE! If it is indicated on the bag with seeds of the hybrid that the seeds are processed, they can be immediately sown in pots.

Suitable for growing tomatoes:

  • wooden boxes;
  • containers
  • cups made of peat, plastic;
  • cups made of paper.

Soil is prepared in the fall, storing in a sufficient amount of humus, sod land, river sand (you can replace it with perlite or vermiculite). Store mixes are also suitable, but when buying, pay attention to the composition of the soil. All the constituent elements in it should be represented in sufficient quantities, but peat mixtures for growing tomato seedlings are not suitable. It is necessary to add to them the earth, humus, any baking powder.

When growing hybrid seedlings, it is recommended to withstand the temperature regime:

  • during seed germination: + 24ºC ... + 27ºC;
  • after emergence: + 18ºC (about 3-4 days);
  • before planting in a permanent place in the greenhouse: + 23ºC ... + 25ºC.

Heat and a drop in temperature negatively affect the growth and condition of seedlings. Seedlings are stretched or vice versa, slows down development, becomes frail, sick. Very carefully it is necessary to irrigate the tomatoes, rather, do not water, but irrigate the soil. Excess moisture is also dangerous, tomatoes are affected by a black leg and can die quickly.

The appearance of three true leaflets is a signal that it’s time to dive Bystrenok. This is done in the following cases:

  • if tomatoes are sown first in common boxes;
  • if the containers where the seeds were sown are small in volume.

After diving, the seedlings are covered for two days from direct sunlight, then grown in the usual way. Top dressing is carried out only if necessary and only after diving seedlings (after about 10 days).

IMPORTANT! Seedlings from around the end of April begin to harden, taking to fresh air.

The duration of the stay of tomatoes on the street or porch should first be small (about 20 minutes), then the time is increased to 3-6 hours. But be sure to take into account the weather, as well as the general condition of the tomatoes.

Tomato care in the greenhouse

In May, the time comes for transplanting tomatoes to a permanent place, but these terms are very arbitrary. Depending on the weather, air temperature and soil, they plan a day of disembarkation, while it is advisable to do this in the late afternoon.

Soil temperature should be + 14ºC ... + 16ºC. In the greenhouse, the soil warms up earlier, there Bystrenok can be transplanted already in early May. For open ground, dates shift to summer; in a number of regions (Urals, Siberia, North-West), tomatoes are planted on ridges only by June 10-15.

It is recommended to cover the plants after planting with non-woven material. It will serve as protection against possible cooling, from the bright rays of the sun. Hardened seedlings take root quickly, the plants do not feel stress and after a few days they feel great in new conditions.

Hybrid planting scheme - 4 plants per square meter. Tighter plantings are not welcome, this affects the overall yield.

Watering

The schedule of irrigation should be given special attention. Tomatoes are plants that love when they are abundantly watered, moistening the soil well. At the same time, frequent watering is not required and, based on this, watering twice a week will be the optimal schedule.

But you need to take into account the weather, the condition of the tomatoes in order to avoid drought and an excess of moisture. Both are undesirable for tomatoes. More water is required during flowering and fruit formation, but during fruiting, the amount of water is reduced. Otherwise, the fruits will be watery and tasteless.

In greenhouses, they control air humidity, prevent condensation on the film or polycarbonate, and arrange regular airing.

A good effect is obtained by mulching the soil, which helps to preserve moisture in the soil, eliminates loosening and weeding. As mulch fit:

  • sawdust;
  • mowed grass;
  • peat;
  • humus.

Tomatoes are watered only with warm, settled water.

Features of the formation of the hybrid

Many people know that determinant tomatoes do not need pinching. But there are exceptions, and our number includes our Bystrenok F1. It is distinguished by its high productivity, quickly forms brushes, and therefore, without planting and removing unnecessary side shoots, an overload of the plant occurs.

Therefore, the hybrid bush is formed into two stems, all the extra stepsons are removed in a timely manner.

IMPORTANT! Proper stepsoning of tomato Bystrenok is one of the conditions for obtaining a good harvest.

Shoots are removed when they reach about 4-5 cm, leaving a small “feather”. If the procedure was not done on time and stepchildren grew large, then they are carefully cut or broken off and used for rooting.They will allow you to collect an additional crop. Tomatoes stepchild in the morning, so that the breaks last for a day.

Top dressing

You can count on high yields only by providing the tomato with nutritious nutrition. Soil for seedlings must be nutritious, the soil on ridges or in the greenhouse is filled with fertilizers.

During the season, it is required to carry out at least 4-5 dressings, while it is imperative to comply with the composition standards. Approximate feeding schedule:

  1. It is carried out approximately 18 days after the transplantation of plants, a diluted mullein, bird droppings are used.
  2. The second top dressing is recommended to be performed before flowering tomatoes, you can use mullein (diluted with water in a ratio of 1:10), as well as superphosphate. The interval between the first and second is at least two weeks.
  3. After 10-15 days, potassium top dressing is used. You can use mineral fertilizers, you can prepare an infusion of ash.
  4. The fourth and fifth are carried out at the same intervals, but only if the plants need it.

It must be remembered that it is better to under-feed tomatoes than to add excessive doses of fertilizer.

Harvest

During the fruiting period of tomatoes, watering of plants is stopped, and the application of fertilizing is also completed. This early hybrid gives the crop quickly and amicably, so it is recommended not to delay the harvest.

Usually gardeners remove tomatoes in a state of technical ripeness (when they are still green or brown), and then ripen them at home.

Advantages and disadvantages of the hybrid Bystrenok F1

This hybrid is not even ten years old, but it has already managed to gain popularity among gardeners. "Blame" for everything - a large list of its advantages, the more so, tomato is successfully grown in various regions of the Russian Federation.

Those who have already grown tomato, among its undeniable advantages, note:

  • good yield;
  • compact bushes;
  • excellent fruit qualities, lack of acidity inherent in early tomatoes;
  • ultra-early maturity (90-100 days);
  • unpretentiousness;
  • resistance to almost all diseases (phytophthora is an exception, but here the hybrid wins due to early ripening);
  • friendly return of the crop.

Early and productive Bystrenok is willingly grown by experienced gardeners, while at the same time, it can be recommended for beginners. And let it be required to comprehend the basics of the formation of bushes, pinching, when leaving, the hybrid will thank with excellent results. Productivity is 11-12 kg per square meter, while the difference when growing in a greenhouse and in open ridges is small.

Of the "minuses", the tendency to defeat late blight was noted above, but by taking protective measures and conducting preventive work, this scourge can be successfully avoided. In addition, Bystrenok manages to give the crop before the late blight begins its "black work".

And one more drawback - if you want to grow this tomato, you will need to purchase seeds every time in the store. Hybrids fail to produce their own seeds.

Reviews about the cultivation of the hybrid Bystrenok F1

Rada, Nizhny Novgorod Region

Planted a hybrid of Bystrenok in a greenhouse, seeds were taken from Sedek. Germination is excellent, and in general this tomato did not make you worry. Seedlings were planted at the end of May in the country house in a greenhouse, covered with acrylic on top, and left for a week. When she came later, she opened and saw that my tomatoes were all pick-and-take, took root and together went to grow.

There were a lot of fruits, the brushes knit well, and the terms are as described. Already in early June, I took off the first tomatoes, quickly ripened on the window. But the duration is short, so you need to keep this in mind. But to get early tomatoes, even in our area, this hybrid deserves attention.

Edward, Altai

The store recommended from early tomato Bystrenok. It is a pity that the hybrid and its seeds can not be obtained. The hybrid is very productive, early, while no infection takes it. Well, at least I did, as other varieties in July already made me worry.Tomatoes are small, the usual taste, there is no special sweetness, but the aroma is pleasant. Used them on salads, very good. The main thing is that this tomato ripens quickly and early, but for more delicious fruits, other options should be considered.
