Tomato growing and care conditions

Tall tomatoes require more care than a determinant plant. Key recommendations for caring for an indeterminate tomato:

  1. Seed preparation. Seeds purchased at a seed store are most often pickled, so if they are slightly colored, they do not need to be processed further. If the seeds do not stand out, it is recommended to soak them before planting in a growth stimulator. A special tool for soaking seeds is Bactofit. The consumption rate of the drug per 500 ml. is 1 g.
  2. Planting seeds. The soil must be warm. Planting depth 1-2 cm. Water the seeds with warm water.
  3. Growing seedlings. The temperature in the greenhouse should be at 25 degrees for the first weeks, then gradually it needs to be reduced so that the plant gets used to a lower temperature threshold. It is advisable to water the seedlings every day, but the watering should be moderate, it is not worth pouring the plants. Topping up seedlings can be done with the following solution: in 10 liters. water dissolve ammonium sulfate 20 g., 30 g. superphosphate and 5 g. potassium chloride. It is necessary to water the plants under the root so that the solution does not fall on the leaves.
  4. Landing and maintenance. In previously prepared pits 1 kg is placed. humus, a tablespoon of superphosphate and wood ash. It is recommended to plant tall plants at an angle of 45. During planting, each bush should be abundantly watered, consumption 10 l. water. As you grow, make a garter to the installed support, break off extra shoots, loosen the earth, and you can also mulch.
  5. Fertilizer. As it grows, you can feed the plant with nitrogen fertilizer 30-35 grams per 1 m². During budding feed potash and phosphorus elements, consumption of 30-40 grams per 1 m².

Reviews:

Oksana Romanovna:

The Wild Tiger tomato was grown for the first time. The fruits are small, great for pickling in jars. Spent a lot of time caring for the plant. I fed tomatoes twice. The first, when they were still in the greenhouse, and the second time, when the fruits began to be tied. Harvest average. 3-4 tomatoes were tied on one brush. The taste is pleasant.

Andrey Viktorovich:

Tomato should be fruitful - this is my subjective opinion. The Wild Tiger variety bears fruit well, but the fruits are small. I rate it as medium-yielding. I can’t say that it was studded with tomatoes, so the rating is average. The color of the tomato is pleasant, the taste is fresh, the flesh is juicy.
