Klusha is a mid-early tomato variety. From seedlings to harvesting it will take 90-95 days. The variety is suitable for outdoor cultivation. But the small size of the bush allows growing on balconies, loggias and window sills. The bushes are standard, determinant, powerful, low 50 cm in height. Very leafy. It does not require pinching. Ovaries form in a brush of 5-8 pieces. On one bush there can be 2-3 clusters with fruits.

Important! Due to the compactness of the bush and the numerous ovaries in the brush, it is nevertheless worth tying the bush to a small support. Otherwise, the bushes break off under the weight of the crop.

Fruits are rounded flattened, bright red. Mass up to 150 grams. The surface is slightly ribbed, glossy. The pulp is dense, juicy, fleshy. The inside of the tomato is divided into a few chambers with a small amount of seeds. The taste is sweet, with a barely perceptible sourness. The smell is pronounced.

Productivity of the variety depends on the place of planting. In open ground and on balconies, it is slightly lower - 1.5-1.8 kg from the bush. In film shelters above - 2-2.2 kg from the bush.

The purpose of the variety is universal. Due to the compact size of the fruit, it is great for canning. And amazing in fresh salads.

Advantages and disadvantages of the variety

The advantages of the variety are its small size and compactness. It gives a very good harvest. It does not require pinching. Resistant to many diseases of tomatoes. You can grow in all regions of Russia. Universal to use. Excellent taste and appearance. Transportable and suitable for short storage. Very unpretentious in cultivation and care.

No flaws were detected in the variety. Except for a large number of leaves.

Seedling planting dates

Planting seeds for seedlings is carried out 50-60 days before planting in a permanent place. In central Russia, this is the first half of March.

The soil for seedlings is chosen light and fertile. A mixture of turf, sand and humus is best suited. Seeds are embedded in moist soil 2 cm deep. Cover with cellophane and clean in a warm place. The optimum temperature for seed germination is 20-22 degrees. After the first seedlings appear, the cellophane is removed, and the seedlings are moved to the sunny windowsill or under artificial lighting.

On a note! The peculiarity of the Klush variety is that in seedlings it does not stretch and does not outgrow.

In the phase of 2-3 of these leaves, the seedlings are picked. After the pick, it is worth feeding the seedlings with a full mineral complex of fertilizers. So, seedlings will quickly tolerate stress.

Planting and Care

Planting of plants in open ground is carried out after passing the threat of repeated frosts. In closed and temporary shelters, seedlings are planted with 7-8 real leaves.

The landing place is chosen sunny and without drafts. The soil is prepared in advance. They remove weeds, fertilize and dig.

For seedlings, 25 cm deep holes are prepared. They are located 20 cm from each other. And the rows are 15-17 cm apart. At the bottom of the hole is placed 1 large spoon of grass or wood ash. Then a tomato bush is lowered into it and sprinkled with soil.Around the bush mulch with straw, wood chips or shredded grass. This will allow seedlings to take root faster, not to overheat during the day and not to cool at night. And in the future it will serve as a pillow for the future harvest.

Watering is carried out at first daily. If mulching was carried out, then as the top soil layer is aired. After the survival of seedlings, watering is reduced to 2 times a week. During fruit setting, watering resumes, and during ripening it is again reduced to 1-2 times a week.

The variety is very responsive to fertilizer application. It is advisable to make them 4-5 times per season. The first top dressing is introduced after landing at a permanent place. The second - 20-25 days after the first. The third - at the stage of laying buds and flowering. The fourth is at the stage of fruit formation. The fifth - after collecting the first wave of the crop.

On a note! When transplanting varieties to a permanent place, fertilizers with a phosphorus content must be applied. Since the Klush variety is undersized, it can not be deeply deepened. So, you need to develop the root system well by introducing phosphorus-containing fertilizers.
