Characteristic and Description

This hybrid variety of tomatoes belongs to mid-early varieties. From the time of planting the seeds, until the first ripe fruit passes approximately 110 days.

Bushes grow compact, medium leafy. In each brush, 6 to 9 fruits are tied. The appearance of the bushes is beautiful and decorative.

In the southern regions, it is possible to grow tomatoes in open ground. In central Russia, plants are kept exclusively in greenhouse conditions. The height of the bush varies depending on the growing conditions and is 120 - 180 cm.

Fruit Description

Ripe tomatoes have a rich raspberry color. Rounded fruits weigh 90 - 140 g. The pulp is sugary and juicy, with a pleasant taste. Tomatoes are dense, with a strong skin, due to which they are well stored and do not crack during transportation.

Features of cultivation and care

Most often, tomatoes are planted in the garden with seedlings. This period should be given increased attention. It is better to use the purchased land, or mix the soil from the garden with sand, and disinfect by calcination in the oven. Growth in the first 2-3 weeks is quite slow. At this time, the root system of the plant is actively forming. Watering is necessary moderate, top dressing is carried out 1 time until the first true leaflet appears. It is important to ensure that seedlings do not outgrow.

An important condition for growing seedlings of the Tretyakovsky variety is lighting. In case of shortage of sunlight, it is necessary to use a phytolamp for illumination. 10-15 days before transplanting to the garden, seedlings begin to harden, taking them to the balcony. In the early days, plants should spend 1-2 hours outdoors, gradually this time is increased.

A transfer to a permanent place takes place in May. The temperature of the soil should be at least +14 degrees. The optimal planting density is 3 bushes per 1 sq. Km. m

The plant is formed in 1-3 stems. The best performance can be achieved by leaving 2 main branches. To limit the growth of the stem, it is recommended to pinch it. They also conduct regular stepsoning. At the stage of active growth, increased attention is paid to watering and top dressing with potassium and phosphorus.

Important! Bushes need garter. Under the branches with fruits establish props in order to protect them from breaking off.

Watering the tomatoes is carried out with warm water under the root, avoiding moisture on the leaves and branches. It is important to prevent the greenhouse effect from occurring. To do this, the greenhouse is regularly ventilated in the daytime.

Productivity

Variety "Tretyakovsky" has a good yield. Each bush gives an average of 5 kg of fruit. Thus, with 1 square. m of soil manages to collect 14 - 16 kg of tomatoes. Gardeners in the southern regions of Russia, in the Donetsk, Belgorod and Voronezh regions, receive the highest yields.

Using

Beautiful small tomatoes are great for pickling in general. Due to its pleasant taste, these tomatoes are also suitable for eating fresh.Tretyakov’s tomatoes are used to make juice, pasta and sauces. All preparations are tasty and healthy due to the high content of sugar and vitamins in the fruits.

Variety "Tretyakov" pleased with a plentiful harvest. Grew in 2017 for the first time. Tomatoes grew beautiful and juicy. The main crop was eaten directly from the garden and in salads. Next year I plan to plant more bushes, and use some of the tomatoes for pickling.

Sergey I.

Acquired seedlings in the market. The bushes grew tall and ugly. But the tomatoes themselves are tasty, smooth, as from the picture. Next year I will grow seedlings myself in order to form compact bushes from an early age. And I will pay more attention to pinching and pinching - this variety grows very quickly in height.

I bought seeds on the advice of a friend. Approximately half the bag has risen. Seedlings grew sturdy and strong. Replanted into the ground (greenhouse) at the end of May. The crop was good. There were no problems with leaving - watered, fertilized as usual. The bushes didn’t hurt, I didn’t observe any pests. I liked that after harvesting a lot of tomatoes were stored in the refrigerator without any consequences. I recommend this wonderful variety to everyone!
