Tomato Golden Fang is suitable for growing in greenhouses. It is distinguished by elongated fruits of a bright yellow color, which are suitable both for own use and for sales purposes, since they have good keeping quality.
Characteristic
The variety belongs to the category of indeterminate. The height of the bushes can reach 1.6 - 1.8 m. At the same time, the length of the fruit itself is about 13 - 15 cm. The fruit ripening period is medium, the pulp is moderately dense and juicy. The average weight of a ripe tomato can range from 150 to 300 g. The leaves have the usual shape, drooping. Tomatoes have a small number of seeds.
Care and growing rules
Due to the high growth, the bushes need a timely garter to an additional support. For lateral shoots, stepsoning is mandatory. The maximum tomato yield is obtained if you grow 2 to 3 stems in one bush. The variety itself is distinguished by the length of the fruiting period. Subject to the terms and rules of cultivation, you can count on 3.5 kg of tomatoes from one bush (about 12 - 16 fruits).
From the moment of sowing the seeds and until the seedlings are planted in the soil, at least 60 - 65 days must pass. In the process of planting bushes, it is necessary to adhere to the calculation of no more than 4 plants per 1 sq.m. Strong stems with several fully open leaves are subject to planting in the ground. The first week after planting, the soil is irrigated with the periodic addition of mineral fertilizers. It is also important to carry out gentle loosening of the soil and to prevent stagnation of water in it. Periodic pinching will allow the main fruits to receive more nutrients, and timely tying to the support will protect the hands from fracture and exhaustion, which means it will save the crop.
The air temperature in the greenhouse should not fall below 15 - 17 degrees heat. In this case, the maximum level of humidity should not exceed 60%. Timely harvesting of the ripened crop will protect the brushes from overload, and the fruits themselves from damage.
Fertilized soil containers can be used to grow the seeds themselves. Before the first shoots appear, the soil is covered with a transparent film or glass. At the same time, daily ventilation is mandatory. With the advent of the first sprouts, the extra cover is completely removed. As a rule, this occurs 10 to 15 days after planting seeds.
Soil preparation
Tomato Golden Fang is moderately capricious, so the soil should be fertilized, loose and healthy. It is not recommended to plant tomatoes on the soil where pepper used to grow. But autumn sowing turnips will eliminate harmful microbes and pathogenic fungi from the soil. For additional fertilizer when planting seedlings, mineral complexes without chloride substances can be used.
Pests and diseases
An insufficient tomato crop can be caused by various diseases of the plants themselves. First of all, this concerns late blight, which is manifested by brown plaque and drying of yellowed leaves. An excessively humid environment is best suited for the development of this disease. That is why the greenhouse should be constantly ventilated, and watering the bushes during ripening should be carried out only after the soil dries. In order to protect the bushes themselves, a baking soda solution (250 g per 10 liters of water) can be used, which the plants are carefully sprayed with, or a two-day infusion of garlic or celandine. You can use such tools no earlier than two weeks after planting the soil. They are preventative safety measures and against spider mites.
If fungicide solutions are used to control pests, it should be borne in mind that the work itself can be carried out no later than 2 to 3 weeks before the expected harvest.

The Golden Fang variety was very capable of germination under favorable conditions. After planting in the soil, automatic watering of plants was carried out. Once every 10 to 12 days, a solution of beneficial minerals was added to the irrigation. Tomatoes are well suited not only for fresh salads and preserves, but also used in sauces and juices. Many recommend this variety to improve the functioning of the vascular system.

The Golden Fang variety is successfully grown in greenhouses with a good ventilation system and moderate humidity. For additional protection against diseases, I use a solution of potassium permanganate (the solution should be bright pink), into which I dip the root system before planting in the ground. For surface treatment of bushes, I can recommend a three-day infusion of wood ash (1 liter of such ash per 10 liters of water). The solution removes the acidity of the soil and leads to the death of various fungi and microbes in the soil.
