We all love to feast on hot borsch, but cooking it is a rather laborious process. I suggest you make a dressing for borsch with cabbage for the winter according to my recipe, it will turn out very tasty. Indeed, sometimes we, modern hostesses, do not have enough time to cook borsch.
To save your precious time, you can make the so-called semi-finished product for cooking borsch. It consists entirely of natural products, unlike in-bag refueling. The recipe is quite unusual, but very simple.
The main ingredient of this dressing is fresh white cabbage. At any time, you can get a jar of dressing from the pantry room and cook a delicious borsch, without bothering to cut all the vegetables.
Ingredients:
- tomatoes - 1000 g,
- carrots - 600 g
- bell pepper - 500 g,
- onions - 600 g,
- cabbage - 2600 g.,
- water - 1 tbsp.,
- vinegar - 3 tsp,
- refined sunflower oil - 130 ml.,
- sugar - 2 tbsp. l.,
- salt - 2 tbsp. l
How to prepare a dressing for borsch with cabbage
All our vegetables are washed under running water. Tomatoes cut into small arbitrary slices.
Peppers are peeled from seeds and stalks, then cut into strips.
Remove carrots from carrots and rub on a coarse grater.
Peel the onion from the husk and cut it with a knife.
Chop the cabbage into thin strips.
We take a capacious pan and fill it with the right amount of water. We also add table vinegar and sunflower oil. We put a pan with this emulsion on the stove and pour chopped tomatoes there.
After boiling for a few minutes, put the bell pepper. Cook for several minutes again and pour the chopped onion here. Now the turn of the main component is cabbage, and after it we put the carrots. Mix the vegetables thoroughly, add salt and sugar, bring to a boil and cook for another five minutes.
We lay out the hot dressing in clean, sterile jars and tighten with tight lids.
It is recommended to store such a workpiece in a refrigerator or in a cool basement.
