- ripe plums - 2000 g;
- sugar - 2000
We also need a roomy pot / basin, with thick walls and a bottom, as well as an ordinary meat grinder.
How to make plum jelly for the winter
Plums should be ripe, sweet, juicy and easy to clean. We discard the rotten and wormy fruits right away, because for a delicious jelly, these will not suit us. We wash the plums.
After we extract the bones. A small life hack, how to get the bones quickly and without cutting the fruit: we take a regular pencil and pierce through each plum. The bone itself will pop out.
Pass all the plums through a meat grinder. We put the broken fruit in a pan / basin.
And we all fall asleep with sugar.
Mix well and send to the stove.
When the future jelly boils, count down 45 minutes and cook. Do not forget to remove the foam and mix our plum puree. We check whether the plum jelly is ready: drip on a flat surface with the product and if the drop does not spread, then the jelly can be removed from the stove.
Pour sweet hot jelly from plums into sterilized jars and immediately clog.
Bon Appetit!
