Seedless Plum JellyIt’s hard to find someone who wouldn’t like sweets. But nowadays it is very difficult to buy really healthy and safe sweets. It’s better to cook something yourself. For example, the same jelly from seedless plums. I will show you a simple recipe, thanks to which you can easily prepare a treat for the winter. This is an incredibly tasty and full dessert in a jar. And most importantly, natural, healthy and safe.

This plum treat will appeal to both kids and adults. Jelly can not only be eaten with tea, milk, coffee, but even put as a filling in homemade croissants and buns. We call it jelly, not because we add gelatin to it, but because after cooling, the jam has a jelly-like consistency that resembles jelly.

The list of ingredients is very modest and small:

  • ripe plums - 2000 g;
  • sugar - 2000

We also need a roomy pot / basin, with thick walls and a bottom, as well as an ordinary meat grinder.

How to make plum jelly for the winter

Plums should be ripe, sweet, juicy and easy to clean. We discard the rotten and wormy fruits right away, because for a delicious jelly, these will not suit us. We wash the plums.

After we extract the bones. A small life hack, how to get the bones quickly and without cutting the fruit: we take a regular pencil and pierce through each plum. The bone itself will pop out.

Pass all the plums through a meat grinder. We put the broken fruit in a pan / basin.

And we all fall asleep with sugar.

Mix well and send to the stove.

When the future jelly boils, count down 45 minutes and cook. Do not forget to remove the foam and mix our plum puree. We check whether the plum jelly is ready: drip on a flat surface with the product and if the drop does not spread, then the jelly can be removed from the stove.

Pour sweet hot jelly from plums into sterilized jars and immediately clog.
