Barberries prefer to grow in full sun. In the shade, varieties with yellow, red, green or orange leaves change the color of the leaf to green. For growth, any well-practically drained neutral soil is suitable for it. Care consists in regular moderate watering and pruning once or twice a season. Strongly old bushes can be thinned out. Such an agricultural technique perfectly stimulates the growth of new branches. Barberries respond well to various dressings. In addition, they even tolerate urban conditions.
