Here is a simple step-by-step recipe with a photo of awesomely tasty winter harvest made from bell pepper and juicy apples. He is rather unusual. Don’t be afraid of the combination of pepper and apples, because it is very successful. The appetizer comes out spicy, aromatic. In order to cook it, you need to take sour apples (ideally, if Antonovka varieties) and fleshy sweet pepper. It is also best to pickle peppers of different colors, because this will make your preparation not only incomparable in taste, but also beautifully festive. All guests will enjoy such a simple but good snack.

  • sweet pepper - by eye, how much will fit;
  • apples (tight, sour) - also by eye;
  • water (for marinade) - 2000 ml;
  • sugar - 500 g;

Since we will immediately put all the ingredients in jars, we need to wash and dry the containers and lids at the very beginning. Pepper fruits are cleaned from the insides, washed from the remaining seeds and cut into several large slices.

We prepare aromatic marinade: pour 2 liters of pure water into a container and bring to a boiling state. Add mustard and dill grains, peas, bay leaves, sugar, salt and a serving of table vinegar.

With apples, we do the same, but only for 2-3 minutes.
