Therefore, tomato can be safely attributed to relics. At first, it was black, and had leaves, like potatoes. In Europe it is considered one of the most popular types. Then, it changed to the standard "tomato" look and actively takes up places in the garden of Russian summer residents.

Growing Features

Spring is a great time to land. Then, after 3 - 3, 5 weeks, you can plant young, tender bushes in the open ground. In the complete planting process, the main stages can be distinguished:

We prepare seed

High-quality seeds guarantee healthy and strong seedlings. Seed germination of about 80% of all that is contained in a pack is the conclusion of Russian summer residents. To improve the quality yourself, you can start by choosing the best seeds, thus:

  • Dilute 90 - 95 g of salt in 1 liter of warm water and mix until dissolved;
  • Pour the seeds into the water and leave them for 10 minutes;
  • Those seeds that have surfaced are not suitable, as they are hollow. Leave only those that are drowned.

We plant seedlings

We sow seeds for seedlings 2 months before its intended planting. We prepare compact boxes, we fill the earth in them. We make small indentations in the soil - no more than 2 cm. We place 2 seeds in each indentation. Then, water well for good and fast germination. We will cover the boxes with a film or a plastic bag and put them in a place well lit by the sun. Good lighting should arrive at least 14 hours a day. Keep a stable room temperature for favorable seedling growth of + 21 - + 25 degrees.

Preparing the soil for planting in the ground

Good soil quality is necessary for the growth of green mass of bushes. Therefore, we make all fertilizers in advance. In steady spring weather, we add peat and sand to the soil. We feed with a nutrient solution containing potassium and phosphorus. Also, it is allowed to add humus and ash. Immediately, before planting a tomato, dig well the place of the intended planting, removing all the weeds, but do not water so that the soil crust does not form.

We plant in open ground

In the spring, when the frost stops, you can grow Brandywine Black in an open garden. Do not plant too early, otherwise the plant may not withstand low temperatures and die. When planting seedlings, place on 1 square. m no more than 4 plants. For a good yield, form a bush in 2 to 3 stems.

Care

It is necessary to carry out regular watering. As seedlings take root, watering can be reduced to several times a week. And as fruiting begins, it is recommended to resume the frequency again.

Tie up better as the bush grows. Stepsons should be removed, leaving hemp in 2 - 3, 5 cm.

Otherwise, it is sufficient to loosen and remove weeds in a timely manner. Tomato does not require complex care steps.

Reviews

Ksenia: I ordered seeds on the Internet. All the seeds came out of the pack. A delicious tomato, the flesh, like cream, melts in the mouth, a bit like cherry tomatoes. Grew up without failures, spoiled fruits were not observed. I gained 7 kg from 1 bush. I love sauces made from it. Everyone at home appreciated his taste, even the kids. Therefore, I can recommend to all summer residents!

Carolina: It looks beautiful on the garden. I observed such a feature: when a seed climbed from the seed, the seed broke in half. And he began to grow "upside down." I corrected, perhaps because of this the plant began to lag much behind. There were 2 out of 10 such faults. The rest grew normally. Fruits are small, sweet with a fruity aroma.
