Tomatoes do not require painstaking care.

Plants are fed after the appearance of sprouts. For this, cow manure, chicken droppings, potassium salts are suitable. You can use one or all of these fertilizers at the same time.

Plants are watered rarely, but abundantly. Before the next watering, you should wait until the soil dries. In order for the fruits not to be watery, the amount of watering is reduced with the appearance of flowers on the bushes.

Previously, the seeds can be soaked in a growth stimulator (three hours is enough). And to improve the protective properties, the seeds can be treated with a weak solution of potassium permanganate. An ideal soil for seedlings is a mixture of garden substrate and humus. For good germination, you need to create comfortable conditions - a sufficient amount of light and heat. Before sprouts appear, a temperature is recommended - from 22 to 25 degrees, after the appearance - about 17. It must be remembered that excessive moisture is harmful to plants. It can provoke the death of roots and the appearance of Drosophila.

After the appearance of 2-4 leaves on the sprouts, the plants dive.

When 15 days have passed from the day of the pick, it is advisable to feed the plants. Necessary plant nutrients can be obtained from a solution of water with a nitrophos (1 tablespoon is added per 1 liter of water). Bushes can also be fed with urea, manure, wood ash, or yeast. After another 2 weeks, you can repeat top dressing.

To prepare seedlings for garden conditions, they begin to temper it in advance. First, the room is regularly ventilated, then you can take out the pots on the balcony. This will make the plants more resistant to various weather conditions. It’s important not to overdo it. If the air temperature is below 8 degrees, hardening should be postponed.

I use Little Red Riding Hood for pickling. I really like this variety - the whole bush in tomatoes, just have time to take it off, you do not need to tie it up, diligently take care, besides the taste is gorgeous!

Elena Krichkina, Kazan:

I have been planting this variety for only 2 years, but there is already an opinion about it. I am glad that there is no need for herding, and it matures earlier than others. From July to the end of August, the whole family was provided with tomatoes. This year, 30 cans were salted for the winter. Juice is also excellent.

Anna Nemova, Balashikha:

I read that the variety is suitable for growing on the balcony and decided to try it. In terms of planted as in open ground, planted seedlings in large pots and sent to the balcony in early May. The bushes grew small, but strong and had good fruiting. I was surprised at the rate of ripening, a few weeks earlier than the specified date. I liked the experience, I will definitely repeat it in the new season.

Valery Sladkov, Ryazan:

I tried to plant these tomatoes for the first time last summer. The variety met all my expectations. The bushes are small and completely covered with fruits. Tomatoes are so delicious! And most importantly, that the spins survived the winter perfectly, not one got cloudy.
