Pumpkin juice with carrots for the winter
Pumpkin juice is a very tasty and healthy drink. It is recommended to use it not only for small children, but also for adults, since it helps the body very well, saturating it with useful vitamins and minerals, which are especially necessary in the cold season.
There are a large number of pumpkin juice varieties. It is combined with both fruits and berries, vegetables. One of the most delicious combinations is pumpkin with carrots.
On the shelves of shops there is a huge selection of such juices, but this healthy drink can be easily prepared for the winter at home.Ingredients:
- pumpkin - 1.5 kg;
- carrots - 1 pc.;
- sugar - 100 g;
- water - 2 l.
How to make pumpkin juice with carrots
We will prepare all the necessary ingredients. Take a large carrot, if small, then take 2 pieces. Well, wash the carrots under running water, peel and cut into half rings.
Cut the pumpkin in half, peel the seeds, fibers, hard peel and cut into medium-sized pieces.
We take a pan, pour pumpkin and carrots into it.
Add a glass of water and sugar, mix well, put on fire, bring to a boil, put on medium heat and cook for 20-25 minutes, until the pumpkins and carrots soften.
We grind vegetables with a hand blender to a puree state.
We heat the water, add it to the pan, mix well, put on fire and boil for 10-15 minutes.
Pour into pre-sterilized jars, close with sterilized lids and turn upside down. Leave in a warm place until cool, then store in a cool place.
