The process of growing and caring for a tomato

To get an early harvest, you need to sow tomato from the end of February (planting continues until April). A series of successive steps for planting and caring for a tomato will allow you to grow a healthy, stable and most importantly fruitful vegetable crop:

  1. The growing process begins with the preparation of the greenhouse, where the plants will be located for the first 45-50 days before planting seedlings in an open garden or greenhouse. Two weeks before the expected day of planting seeds, the soil is dug up, the breasts are broken, peat is applied (for looseness). After agricultural work, the soil needs to be decontaminated. For processing, use modern drugs of biological origin, for example, Bactofit, Trichodermin.
  2. To increase seed germination, they must be soaked in any available growth promoter. The most widespread, among gardeners, has won the growth stimulator "Epin". Additionally, you can also disinfect seeds, but if you have performed soil cultivation, then processing seeds is not necessary.
  3. Planting material is planted in moist, compacted soil. The depth of the grooves or pits is 1-2 centimeters. The optimal climate consists of two components: air temperature (+ 22-25 ° C) and humidity (60-70%). Seeds are hatching on the 7-8th day from the placement of seeds in the soil. Tomato grows together.
  4. Water the plants with warm water (25-30 ° C) under the root. In the early days, watering is done every few days. Throughout the seedlings, plants can be fed. To do this, dilute 1 teaspoon of "Humate" in 10 liters of water, pour each sprout under the root with the resulting solution.
  5. Before transplanting seedlings in open soil, it must first be hardened in 15 days. If you plant plants in a greenhouse, then you can not harden seedlings.
  6. If you planted a tomato in a greenhouse, then the soil under it should be mulched. This will reduce moisture evaporation and protect the root system from overheating.
  7. Adult plants are not often watered; it will be enough to water the tomato once every 5 days.
  8. Be sure to feed the tomatoes during flowering, so that the fruits are tied up large and juicy. Use any mineral dressing that contains potassium, phosphorus, boron, magnesium, iron, etc.
  9. Upon reaching the bushes thirty centimeters high, the gardener needs to establish a support to tie up the plant. From this moment, stepsoning and the formation of a bush in one or two stems begins.
  10. Throughout the growing season, monitor the condition of tomatoes in time to destroy pests that can settle on the plant.

Reviews gardeners

Yanina Alexandrovna, Stavropol region.

I cultivated Bonaparte tomato under film shelters, because I wanted to get the first tomatoes early. I was not mistaken in the selected tomato variety. The fruits ripened quickly. The pulp is pink, juicy, tastes good. They are stored for a long time. Productivity is high, bushes are directly hung with tomatoes! There were no problems with cultivation. I fed the plants three times. I liked the variety very much; next year I will definitely plant it again.

Angelina Stepanovna, Krasnodar Territory.

Bonaparte cultivated tomato was grown on open ground. The bushes grew tall, 1.5-1.8 meters. Some 6-8 pieces of tassels on a plant were tied. Each had 3-6 tomatoes. The fruits are juicy, dense, delicious. The plant is strong, over the entire growing season has treated bushes from attacks scoops. I recommend everyone to try the Bonaparte variety.
