Before planting, the seedlings must undergo a hardening process. Plant it after the spring night freezing temperatures cease. On one square meter should not be more than 9 tomatoes. Further care consists in regular watering, feeding, tying a tall plant.
Usually one brush contains no more than 6 tomatoes, heart-shaped in shape, smooth to the touch and bright in color. Usually the largest are the first ripened fruits. All subsequent ones will be less, about 400 grams. The variety is used for the preparation of salad, as well as for processing for the purpose of further preservation in the form of tomato paste, ketchup or sauce. Cardinal is not suitable for whole-pickled salting because of its too large size.
