Growing seedlings, the first method

Seeds are planted in loose and moist soil (this is important!) You can plant it in any container, starting from special pots and ending with boxes of food products. It is necessary to make a groove with a finger to a depth of half a centimeter, leaving about one centimeter between the grooves. After that, sprinkle with earth, water. Now cover with a film, thus forming a humid climate, but do not forget to open your mini-greenhouse twice a day for 10 minutes to avoid mold. The room temperature should exceed 20 degrees, and whether it will be a dark cabinet or a sunny balcony until shoots appear, for the viola it does not matter.

The second method of growing from seed to seedlings

There is another method that is familiar among professional flower growers. We take a container with soil, and pour plenty of warm water (more than 30 grams), then we spread the seeds on the surface of the earth, the greater the distance between them, the later you will pick. Cover the structure with a film and place it in a warm place. After 10 days, seedlings will appear on the ground. There are cases that seedlings appear after 20-25 days, this may be due to the fact that the seeds are old or sprinkled with a thick layer of soil. Then we transfer the container, for example, to the balcony or window sill. Viola seedlings are very strong, but despite this, do not rush to remove the film, this must be done gradually, airing the soil twice a day for 20 minutes. After a week, the film can be removed.

How and when to transplant a viola

Transplant our plant into the garden only when stable heat is established. It is necessary to plant flower bushes at a distance of more than 15 centimeters from each other in order to avoid diseases, such as powdery mildew. It is very important to choose the right permanent place of residence for our plant. Viola loves cool, but bright places. An ideal place for this under the fruit trees. This flower is cross-pollinated, on this basis, it is necessary to plant different colors of the viola at a great distance. If you plant a viola on the balconies, then give preference to the western and eastern sides. On the south side, our beauty will bloom in all its beauty, but not for so long, only until the month of July, when the heat sets in.

Self-cultivating

When the viola fades, a box of three sections is formed and the timely removal of faded parts will prolong its flowering. If the boxes are not removed, self-seeding will occur, but with it the signs of varieties are not preserved.

Basic care

The main care for delicate pansies includes daily watering, enrichment of the soil with mineral fertilizers. Naturally, do not forget about weeding from weeds, cover the soil with sawdust for the winter. When choosing fertilizing, give preference to nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizer. Pansies in many cities delight the eye on flower beds, on balconies of houses. This flower, a symbol of falling in love, is cut off for a rather long time.
