- Deepen into the ground at a distance of no more than 3 meters from the place where pests were noticed.

There is another effective deterrent that can be used if pests are wound near beds of cabbage, beets or carrots. To do this:
- Pour 4 liters of water into a bucket;
- Dilute in it 1 tbsp. a spoonful of birch tar.
- Sprinkle the solution with sawdust and let it brew for several hours.
- Deepen the pulp no more than 3 cm from the ground.
Bookmarks from birch can be made after the discovery of insects or to prevent their appearance. A simple and effective way is to impregnate the soil with a solution based on birch tar.
Dilute it with 1 tbsp. spoon in 3 liters of water. Pour the soil with the resulting solution or spray the damaged plants.
Precautionary measures
Spray with a product based on birch tar root crops or plants that are not yet ripe. Do not use it to spray adult fruits or ripe berries. It is better to carry out processing at a distance of 3 meters from the ridge. This is enough to adversely affect pests and plant crop safety.
To avoid a possible allergic reaction, protect your skin with tight, tight clothing and gloves.
Effectively apply the product in the early morning, evening or in cool weather.
After rain, processing is not necessary again, birch tar is a persistent product, the effect of it will be preserved even after heavy rain.
