Juicy peppers in the middle zone of Russia is a difficult task. But new varieties of pepper, such as Atlant, refute this opinion. Atlant is an early ripe pepper that survives and even successfully bears fruit in the open ground in areas of the country with a temperate climate. With proper care, it can produce a crop with excellent presentation and high taste.

The plant requires the implementation of some additional procedures: irrigation with warm water, mandatory nutrition and lighting. Therefore, the "Atlas" is not suitable for those who have no time to care for the plant. But summer residents who spend all summer on their site, this variety is perfect.

General characteristics of the variety

"Atlant" is an early ripe pepper variety that begins to bear fruit already 70-75 days after sowing. This is the record holder for early fruiting. The variety is considered a giant because its fruits reach a length of up to 22 cm. In a mature state, peppers acquire a bright red hue, although they can be removed for technical ripening with a green color.

The plant has a small stem growth, which allows it to grow without additional supports and garters. It withstands Russian conditions well, if you follow the rules of care: pour it with warm water and fertilize. You can plant seedlings in open ground, in a greenhouse or under an awning from a film (you can also without an awning, that is, without a special arc). This substance is in the form of a powder that can be dissolved in water to produce a nutrient fluid. Seeds must be kept in solution for no more than a day.

You need to place the seeds in specially prepared pots.You should not plant many seeds at once in one soil: each seedling should have its own space. Two seeds are planted in one pot of fertilized soil. Seedlings require periodic top dressing, regular watering with warm water. They need to be placed on the windowsill or in another illuminated place, but seedlings should not be blown out. You can plant seedlings in open ground at the end of May. At low temperatures, you need a cover film. In order for all the sprouts to take root in a new place, it is advisable to use top dressing before planting.

Harvest Features

Productivity "Atlanta" is high. On one bush grows up to 2 dozen fruits. Each weighs 150 grams. Walls of peppers with a thickness of 0.9 to 1.1 cm. They are easily cut, but at the same time they do not deform under pressure on the counter, they retain their presentation for a long time.

1. Daylight hours should be at least 12 hours. You can use not UV lamps, but any means of lighting: LED, LED and others. It is better not to resort to the use of incandescent lamps: with a close proximity to the leaves, this is fraught with a burn.

Application

The Atlant variety is one of the leading food types. It is used to create the following dishes:
