Juicy sorcerers of potatoes and minced meat
I suggest you cook a simple dish with a mysterious name - sorcerers. The history of this dish dates back to the time of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
Traditional sorcerers are prepared from dough with a variety of fillings. Most often, for the preparation of the dough, potatoes are first boiled. Classic sorcerers are prepared with minced meat stuffing. There are also cheese, meat, mushroom and fish fillings.
Cooking according to this step-by-step recipe with a photo does not take much time, sorcerers are formed quite large in size, more than standard dumplings. When sculpting, it is important to firmly connect the edges so that the meat juice does not leak out, then the products will turn out really juicy.
Sorcerers cook in a large amount of boiling water and make sure that at the initial stage they do not stick to the bottom of the pan.
Ingredients:
- potatoes - 1 - 2 pieces;
- minced meat - 200 grams;
- onions - ½ pieces;
- egg - 1 piece;
- vegetable oil - 25 grams;
- flour - 1 cup;
- paprika - ½ teaspoon;
- coriander - ½ teaspoon;
- seasoning for minced meat - 1 teaspoon;
- salt, pepper, a little cheese.
How to cook sorcerers of potatoes and minced meat
Peel the potatoes, boil them in salted water and knead with a crush.
Add vegetable oil, mix.
Beat in the egg, salt, mix the mashed potatoes.
Pour flour, knead the dough, which should not stick to your hands.
Leave the finished dough under a towel for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Peel the onion, chop finely.
Fry the onion until light golden in a pan, add to the minced meat continue to cook the filling. Add salt, pepper and spices to the filling, mix and cool the mass.
Divide the potato dough into small pieces, slightly larger than a walnut. Spray each ball into a flat cake with your hand.
