Plum marmalade at home
Homemade plum marmalade is a healthy and natural product. It is very easy to cook: it requires a minimum amount of ingredients and this simple recipe with a photo.
After winter, I had frozen plums in the freezer, and I decided to make marmalade from them. Plums can be taken both frozen and fresh.
Ingredients:
- plums - 600 grams;
- agar-agar - 10 grams;
- granulated sugar - 8 tbsp. spoons;
- water - 75 milliliters.
How to make plum marmalade
Pour agar-agar with warm water, mix and leave for 15 minutes.
Take the required amount of plums.
Remove seeds from the drain. If you take frozen berries, it is better not to defrost them completely. Cut the slightly melted plums in half and remove the seeds. Then chop the plums with the pulp and the skin in a blender.
Pour the resulting mass into a small saucepan with a thick bottom and cover with sugar.
Bring to a boil and then cook for 5 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Pour swollen agar agar and cook for another 3 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Pour small silicone or other molds with plum. If you do not have small tins, you can make marmalade in a larger shape, for example, for a cupcake. Leave the marmalade to cool at room temperature, and then transfer the cooled fruit to the refrigerator for half an hour.
When the marmalade hardens, carefully remove it from the molds. If you wish, you can roll it in sugar.
Homemade plum marmalade is ready. Your children will undoubtedly enjoy such a sweetness, and at the same time you will be confident in its naturalness and usefulness.
Bon Appetit!
