Lazy stewed rice with chicken - a delicious dish
This step-by-step recipe with a photo of stewed rice with chicken can be safely called lazy: it is prepared very simply and easily. Rice and chicken in the company of vegetables are simultaneously baked in the oven and a two-in-one dish is obtained - both meat and side dish. Very convenient, very appetizing and very tasty, believe me!
Ingredients for 3 servings:
- chicken drumsticks - 4-5 pcs;
- carrots - 1 pc, not large;
- onions - 1 pc;
- canned corn - 1/3 cans;
- steamed rice - 170 ml;
- salt, seasoning for chicken - to taste;
- soy sauce - 1 tsp;
- garlic - 1-2 cloves;
- vegetable oil - 2-3 tsp
How to Cook Lazy Chicken Stew Rice
To prepare this dish, you can use not only chicken drumsticks, but also thighs and wings. Wash the chicken drumsticks.
Add salt, garlic, passed through the press, 1 tsp. vegetable oil and seasoning for chicken.
Mix thoroughly and set aside for 30 minutes to the side - marinate.
Peel the onions and carrots. Rinse thoroughly. Cut the onions into thin half rings, rub the carrots on a coarse grater. We well heat the pan with vegetable oil and spread the vegetables. Fry onions with carrots until soft, for 8-10 minutes, over low heat under a lid.
We take out the corn from the marinade and put it on a sieve so that the excess liquid in the glass.
We wash the rice in 2-3 waters. Add rice and corn to the carrots with onions, a little salt.
Mix.
In a baking dish we shift rice with vegetables. Pour boiling water over everything so that about 1 finger of water covers rice.
Spread chicken legs on top.
We close the form with a lid (or foil) and put in the oven preheated to 200 degrees C. Bake for 1 hour. By the end of the baking process, all the liquid is absorbed, the rice becomes soft and crumbly, and the chicken becomes soft and soft.
Ready chicken with rice can be served immediately.
