How to cook delicious pickled mushrooms at home

Forest or meadow mushrooms are excellent for pickling. It is important to choose them correctly. The shade of forest mushrooms is not bright, slightly dusted. If you are offered red honey mushrooms - these are Chinese counterparts grown in artificial conditions. There will be no harm from them, however, nor benefit. The main difference between the edible mushroom is the presence of a rim on the leg. Forest mushrooms, depending on the area in which they grow on hats, have a gray spot.
For marinated mushrooms, only hats are used for pickling; forest hats can be cooked whole.You will need:
- honey agarics - 300 grams;
- garlic - 1 clove;
- bay leaf - 1 piece;
- cloves - 3 buds;
- apple cider vinegar - 1 tablespoon;
- olive oil - 1 tablespoon;
- salt pepper.
How to pickle mushrooms at home
Soak the mushrooms in cold water for 10 minutes. Clean if necessary.
Rinse honey mushrooms in a colander in running water.
Pour mushrooms with cold water, add a little salt and cook for 5 minutes. Drain the water, rinse the mushrooms, add fresh water and cook for 20 minutes.
At the end of cooking, add bay leaf and cloves.
To recapture mushrooms. Do not pour the broth, use for cooking soups or lean borscht.
