Simple and effective dessert - “Roses from apples”
A very quick and effective dessert can be prepared with just three ingredients. If you have ready-made puff pastry, some jam and some apples, you can easily bake beautiful “Apple Roses” buns.

- puff pastry - 800 g;
- apples - 4-5 pcs.;
- apricot jam - 80-90g;
- lemon juice - 1 tbsp. lies .;
- water - 2-3 tbsp. lies .;

How to make roses from apples
Rinse the apples and core (seeds). Cut into thin (2-3 mm) slices and place on a flat dish. In a cup, mix lemon juice with water, then sprinkle apple slices with this mixture.
Place the dish in the microwave. Cook for 2-3 minutes at high power. Apple slices should become moderately soft, but at the same time not “fall apart”. Therefore, in order not to miss the moment, cook in pulses of 1 minute. Let them cool.
Finished puff pastry must first be thawed. It is better to do this gradually, in the refrigerator. For example, shift from freezer to refrigerator in the evening. Divide the dough into 4 equal parts. Roll one of them into a thin layer (3-4 mm) measuring approximately 35X18 cm. For convenience, you can sprinkle a small amount of wheat flour on the work surface during rolling out the dough.
Using a sharp knife (you can use a pizza knife) cut the resulting layer into 3 equal strips. Each should be about 6 cm high.
Grease each piece with apricot jam.
If there is no jam, you can use apricot or peach jam. However, the fruit must first be chopped and mixed with jam syrup. The consistency should not be too thin.
At the top of the strip, lay the apple slices so that they protrude 1/2.
Bend the lower edge to the upper.
Roll each workpiece into a roll and set it upright. Similarly, prepare the remaining roses from apples.
To bake roses from apples, use a metal cupcake mold. Only in this way will the buns retain their shape. Place each workpiece in a cell previously greased with vegetable oil. Bake at 1800From until golden, about 20-25 minutes (time depends on your oven).
