Lush charlotte with kefir apples

Before, I always cooked Charlotte pie according to the classic recipe, separated the proteins from the yolks, and beat the dough for at least 5 minutes with a mixer. However, I recently learned that you can cook in the oven a very delicious and magnificent charlotte with apples on kefir and its recipe is much simpler. I had kefir on hand, so I immediately started cooking.

I took homemade chicken eggs. The dough is with them, and the pastries themselves in color are more attractive. In order to make the charlotte magnificent, I added soda to the dough, but did not quench it with vinegar - this function was performed by kefir. If you don’t have soda and you’d better add baking powder to the dough, then you can safely add it, just double the proportion.

  • apples - 2-3 pieces;
  • chicken eggs - 3 pieces;
  • granulated sugar - 150 grams;
  • flour - 150 grams;
  • kefir - 150 milliliters;
  • baking soda - 0.5 teaspoon.

How to bake charlotte on kefir

In a bowl with high walls, beat the chicken eggs. Connect the mixer to the network. Beat eggs for 30 seconds. Add sugar and beat until the mass increases three times in volume.

Then pour kefir into the beaten egg mixture, pour in soda. Beat again for 10 seconds.

Add flour to the dough. Mix well using a silicone spatula or regular tablespoon.

Pour the dough into a baking dish (both metal and silicone will work). If baking sticks to your mold, then you can grease it with butter or cover it with parchment paper.

Wash apples, peel. Cut into slices and put them in the dough.

Send the Charlotte pie to an oven preheated to 190 degrees. Bake it for 30 minutes.

Carefully remove the finished charlotte from the pan, let it cool, and then cut into squares and serve it to the table.
