Snack from pita bread “Guests in shock” - the first will leave the table
An unusual appetizer in the form of pita rolls with vegetables looks very appetizing, tastes great and really swept off the table first. No wonder she bears the original name “Guests in Shock”.Cook a little more - you won’t regret it, especially since the preparation is extremely simple, with a predictably remarkable result.
From vegetables you will need fresh white cabbage, sweet peppers, carrots and pickled or pickled cucumbers. It may seem that the cucumber is superfluous, but the addition of sour cucumber gives the filling an unusual taste, and it seems that the inside is not fresh vegetables, but stewed sauerkraut. Very unusual and tasty! But if this combination still bothers you, choose a vegetable mix of your choice. Add a little mayonnaise, just to combine the vegetables.

How to cook an appetizer from pita bread "Guests in shock"
Shred thinly cabbage, thinner than for salads, so that it has time to steam when roasting the rolls.
Add finely chopped or grated carrots as well.
Sprinkle cabbage with carrots with half a teaspoon of salt. Lightly rub it with your hands so that the vegetables become softer and give juice, which we then pour.
Drain the excess vegetable juice. Spread finely chopped sweet pepper and pickled cucumber, grated or finely chopped to the cabbage. Add a little thick mayonnaise.
We cut the sheet of pita bread with scissors into four parts to make rectangles. Lubricate with a very thin layer of mayonnaise and spread the filling, leaving the edges empty.
Turn the pita roll and gently press it with your palm.
We cut each roll into three or four pieces, not very large.
We heat some oil in a frying pan, put the rolls and quickly brown. We put the seam down, otherwise the rolls will unfold. Turning over, fry the rolls on the other side.
Serve the original appetizer hot or cooled, supplemented with sauce, herbs or tomatoes. Bon Appetit!
