Dietary beef patties with carrots and zucchini

From beef you can cook very tasty and juicy meatballs, which in addition will turn out dietary.

In their composition (except for meat) - zucchini and carrots, and it is vegetables that do not allow the cutlets to become dry and tasteless. As for the cooking process itself, the best option is not to fry cutlets in a pan, but bake in the oven, with a minimum amount of vegetable oil.

Ingredients for 5 pieces:

  • minced beef - 300 g;
  • onions - 0.5 pcs, medium size;
  • raw carrots - 0.5 pcs, small;
  • fresh zucchini - 1/4 pcs, small;
  • chicken egg protein - 1 pc;
  • salt, black pepper;
  • vegetable oil.

Peel onions and rinse. We twist beef into minced meat along with onions. If you do not really like onions, then you can not use it for cooking these cutlets.

Peel the carrots and rinse. We wash the zucchini. If the zucchini is young and fresh, do not remove the skin. If the zucchini is large, with clearly visible seeds, we use only its outer, dense part. We remove the loose inner part together with the seeds. Rub carrots and zucchini on a medium grater.

In a bowl we spread the minced meat with onions, add carrots, zucchini, salt, black pepper and egg white.

Stuff the minced meat thoroughly so that all the ingredients are evenly distributed. Then we beat out the minced meat, with a force transferring from one hand to another (or hitting them on the table). At the same time, the structure of the minced meat changes, and when baked, the patties will not fall apart.

We turn on the oven for heating by 190-200 degrees C. On a baking sheet we spread a sheet of parchment and grease it with vegetable oil. We form small round patties and put them on parchment.

Place the baking tray with cutlets in a preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes.

Then gently turn the patties and bake for another 10 minutes.

Ready-made cutlets keep their shape well and look very appetizing. Most tasty they are still hot.
