Simple Vegetable Casserole - Easy, Delicious Recipe
A simple vegetable casserole is an ideal option for a wholesome lunch or hearty dinner. Vegetables in the summer period delight us with their abundance, but when winter comes, there are fewer vegetables on the market, and we have to be content with what we have. Today we offer you to cook a casserole of potatoes, tomatoes, onions and mushrooms, we also add some hard cheese and sour cream.
The casserole according to this step-by-step recipe with a photo turns out to be very tasty, you can serve it to the table with various meat dishes or poultry, or you can just with vegetables or pickles. If you wish, you can make the dish more interesting - add spices and herbs to your taste.
Ingredients:
- potatoes - 250 g;
- onions - 1 pc.;
- tomatoes - 1 pc.;
- champignons - 150 g;
- sour cream - 3 tbsp;
- dry garlic - 2 tsp;
- hard cheese - 120 g;
- vegetable oil - 2 tbsp;
- salt, pepper - to taste.
How to make a simple vegetable casserole
Prepare all the necessary ingredients on a list. Peel and wash potatoes and onions. Rinse and dry tomatoes. Mushrooms are also well washed. Heat the oven immediately to 180 degrees.
Choose any form in which we will cook the casserole. Grease the mold with vegetable oil. Cut the potatoes into plates, put in the first layer.
On top of the potatoes lay chopped onions or strips.
Cut the mushrooms into plates and lay on top of the onion. Add salt and pepper to all ingredients and add spices, if desired, toss a couple of pinches of dried garlic.
Cut the tomatoes into plates and lay on top of the mushrooms.
