Salad "Cod liver under a fur coat" with prunes - on the festive table
For those who like unusual combinations, I propose to cook a simple, but at the same time tasty and refined salad - “Cod liver under a fur coat” with prunes.
Adding prunes to the salad brings an incredible taste, completely new, but it harmonizes perfectly with all products, so the result is excellent. Without a doubt, you can serve such a salad on the festive table, it is definitely worthy of it, because it is not only very tasty, but also beautiful in context - this can be seen in the photo.
For salad dressing, you can make mayonnaise yourself, it is also important to choose a good cod liver.
Boil carrots and potatoes in advance, then the salad will gather in a matter of minutes.
Ingredients:
- cod liver - 100 g;
- potatoes - 1 pc.;
- carrots - 1 pc.;
- prunes - 5-6 pcs.;
- green onion - 10 g;
- eggs - 2 pcs.;
- mayonnaise - 2 tbsp;
- salt, pepper - to taste.
How to make salad "Cod liver under a fur coat"
Prepare all products on a list. Boil and peel the potatoes, grate with medium chips, put the first layer in the salad. You can salt, pepper and grease with mayonnaise all layers of salad.
Put the cod liver on a plate, knead with a fork. Put the cod liver in the next layer in the salad.
Rinse, dry and finely chop the green onion feathers. Put onion on top of the liver.
Grate boiled carrots on a medium grater and lay on top of onions.
Rinse and dry the prunes. After prune, cut into small pieces, lay on top of carrots.
To clean boiled chicken eggs, to separate proteins and yolks. Grate the proteins and put in the salad.
